All that sounds good and is very motivational to young men wanting to prove themselves. However, we’re a very resilient team as well. ND is about to face a different animal than they’ve faced this year. An animal that has teeth and will bite back when backed into a corner. Go Dawgs!
Hopefully, the only statement ND makes is they don't play well in bowl games/playoffs.
Amen !! Totally Agree !! If the word Resiliency is the buzz word of the day then the Dawgs own plenty of stock in that.
While it’s true our Dawgs have two losses on their resume in my humble opinion the only truly embarrassing loss was the Ole Miss loss. The Dawgs were still really, really young when they faced Bama on the road. And came within a gnats eyebrow of making a come back in that game.
But Ole Miss was blazing hot at the time our Dawgs faced them Again on the road. And as much as I hate to credit Kiffin he had his team better prepared and they wanted that win in the worse way. These things said ND is a pretty good team, and no doubt they are ultra motivated. I Believe they Can win this game but they Won’t.
Why ?? Look at their schedule, they have not faced the level of adversity that the Dawgs have. And they have not Had to have the level of Resiliency that the Dawgs have had to dig down to. This will be a tough game, a full four qtr. game, but the Dawgs Will win it. Go Dawgs !!
It is definitely interesting to note that Notre Dame's closest game was a loss to NIU at home. Overall, the Dawgs have faced more adversity and shown more resilience. Can the Dawgs come out with the same energy in the first half that they had in Austin back in October? My biggest fear is that Riley Leonard will be allowed to extend plays like other running QBs they've faced. The defense needs to play with more discipline and focus than we've seen in those games, especially in the secondary.
The Irish went down to Georgia…. Different year, same outcome. Georgia has never lost to ND, and it will not lose in 2025 either…. With all the grandstanding they have been doing, the Dawgs will rip the flesh from their bones. "Who let the Dawgs out"!!!
Ole Miss out played us and deserved to win that game. But Bama didn't win the game the officiating crew handed the game to them.
Oh Yes !! You’re absolutely spot on with that !! The zebras did everything they could to help Bama. You’d have almost thought Saban was on the sideline. Still the Dawgs almost pulled it out of the fire !! They can and will beat ND just stay focused and execute. Go Dawgs !!
The Mighty Virgin was defeated by a team with a defense bound and determined to win…..more want and more desire to make a statement…..and they did. The huskies had talent but more importantly they played lights out with nothing to lose. At 8:45 Jan 1, The Irish will need all of the luck and fight they can muster because they will face another TEAM with more want and desire plus enough talent to make 4 Northern Illinois Husky teams.
