NEW ORLEANS — The University of Georgia Athletic Association released a statement after investigators said a driver intentionally drove around police barricades and struck and killed several people early Wednesday in the French Quarter of New Orleans.

Reports are now that the game is postponed 24 hours. While I understand why, it is incumbent on the CFP to switch around the timing of the semi finals out of fairness to the teams.

I’ve been hearing on the news I’ve watched that the game will go on as scheduled, but with a Much higher level of security. Press Conference at 2PM Eastern time so we might know more then. My sincere condolences to the families of those who lost loved ones. And prayers for a speedy and full recovery of those injured. And grateful that it wasn’t even worse !! They found a crude IED on the crime scene area. It was total Evil at work. Lord help us. 🙏🙏
