Pathetic coaching, play calling, execution and sideline discipline. That kid that cost us points won’t be back next season. Our best players on all 3 phases of the game let us down. The play call at the end of the half was a huge head scratcher since Stockton was sacked to end a previous series on a drop back pass. Throw a short pass or run the ball to loosen the defense up. Vintage Mike Booboo today. What worked to get to the red zone was not used in the red zone. Very few plays called to Stockton’s strengths. Was there a roll out pass play called at all? Why wasn’t the kickoff put in the end zone? Did Kirby think our kickoff team needed to break a sweat? None of this is Stockton’s fault. He tried to execute every pathetic play called. A month to get ready for nd and that’s the best we get? I know they waited to see if it’d be nd or Indiana but Kirby knew he’d be playing nd.

I agree, the play at the end of the half, didn't make sense, just run the clock out, and get a stop ,in the beginning of the 3rd quarter , never dreamed a run back would happen. My Dad, was from Athens, and graduated in 42, I'm 78, and from UGA'S hometown, so I have been a fan for many years, we all hoped for a better result tonight, but I can't say enough about well Gunner played, I appreciate his efforts over the past three years, and I like the fact ,he is true home grown Georgia guy, I'm 100% behind him, and we have some awesome freshman, that are going to be great players. I will never question any call that Kirby makes. Take a look at the lineman, that are freshmen this year, and have had full year, to learn and get better, UGA has a good future. As Larry Munson would say, Ole Lady Luck, was not on our side tonight, the Dawgs, fought through a very tough schedule, and won the SEC Championship, my hats off to the team, for their effort, I am proud of our Dawgs, and can't wait until next year! GO DAWGS

I couldn’t have stated things any better. You hit every nail dead center. Dawgs were out played and out Coached. The most glaring thing of all was our O Line. The Somoan player ( not being racist but I can’t think of his name) was butchering Gunner.

And NO to the Few Dawgs fan that wasn’t about “ Gunner getting the ball out quicker”. Getting it out to exactly Who pray tell ? Gunner didn’t even have time to go through his checks for goodness sake !! It was pretty much first read or Nothing !!

The Somoan guy come Around Freeling twice. Then there was at least one time he blew right through the center of our O Line !! Other ND defenders went through our O Line like a laxative through a little ole lady !!

@David1 I want to Thank You for having both Compassion for Gunner and the Intelligence to see that this loss was Not primarily his fault. Was Gunner perfect ?? No he was not. But for his first ever start in the Playoffs no less with his O Line letting him AND our running game down I thought as You and Most Dawgs fans he did a very solid job.

Gunner had very little support tonight. And our RBs same thing. O Line didn’t make many holes for them. Bobo was not creative at all. And he certainly wasn’t able to adjust and adapt.

If Kirby plans to Stay on top and be Elite then as a Leader he needs to make the tough calls to Fire some people. Some Coaches Plural need to be hitting the door. YES traditionally Defense wins games but you have to have at least Some Offense.

Kirby needs to Aggressively pursing the TP for some Very Good WRs, not just run of the mill guys. The Dawgs/UGA folks need to pony up more NIL $$$. It’s ultra embarrassing that Dawgs lead all CFB in number of passes dropped !!

Our Defense did pretty well tonight but as the game went on I think two things happened 1) they got gassed from our O not being able to sustain drives 2) they lost their morale when they kept seeing the poor performance of our O.

There are some Big changes that need to happen for this team going forward. Other wise Kirby and the Dawgs are gonna regress to the Before Kirby Days.

If Smart is smart he will find the guts to make the Needed Coaching changes. Work the $$$ people. And pursue the TP for some WRs. OK let me see if I can get off this soap box without breaking my neck. Still Love Our Dawgs !!

Thank You Sir !! Your optimism and positivity are infectious !! I just vented and threw my pity party !! But I’m already working on getting over it. Your positive comments help !!

I was very proud of the effort from Gunner. I see huge potential in him. No he wasn’t perfect, but this was his first start and in the playoffs to boot. I thought he played Very solid at the QB position.

It was a tough, tough way to learn but he went through a trial by fire tonight. So going forward the experience he got playing in the SECCG which he helped win coupled with this unfortunately loss will be invaluable to him starting the 2025 campaign.

Dawgs will pick up the pieces and go at it again !! I wish You and All our fellow Dawgs fans a Very Blessed and Safe 2025 !! Go Dawgs !!

I was fortunate to be married to a first cousin to Tim Crowe#91 , during the Herschel years, we got to spend time with them before the games, and was so much fun. We used to go to his room, before the games, and even get to talk with Herschel. Time has past very fast, but the GRIT has never left, the Georgia way, there is something special about Georgia, and I am very proud to be a Georgian ,and a DAWG FOREVER!
