What social media has to say after Georgia football season comes to an end with loss to Notre Dame
NEW ORLEANS — Most Georgia fans didn’t know who Parker Jones was prior to the team’s game against Notre Dame.

Why do we keep hearing that the 11 on 11 off substitution caused the offsides penalty. We basically had two guys jump on that play and both were standing right over the ball. At this level, anticipating and jumping before the ball moves is lack of discipline. The 11 on 11 off didn’t cause that. Go Dawgs!
Their receiver moved before our players did. Another Tyler Simmons moment.
I usually find the social media segments interesting, entertaining. But this one is just a parade of awful takes.
Yep, the Dawgs missed too many layups to complain about officiating….great statement and SO true. It's tough to win when you keep beating yourself.
I always find it funny to see the lawyer for Dog Bites. Guess he just did a global advertising campaign and "Dawgs" counts too LOL.
Anyway, lets face it - we weren't going to win that game against anybody (other than maybe Indiana) playing like we did. The sideline penalty was just bad luck and really should've been a flag but the ref was mad about being tripped up… but it doesn't matter. Beck wouldn't have done better with the o-line and certainly the receivers wouldn't have caught more.
I'm tired of hearing about how we should've "run the clock out" at the end of the half. Give me a break. We had 1st down, 33 seconds and 2 timeouts starting at our 25. Notre Dame was going to get the ball to start the 2nd half and had the lead. You didn't have too far to go to get into FG territory and that could've been the difference in the game.
Stockton DID a fantastic job. It's not his fault he didn't have protection and that his receivers were either not open or not able to catch a ball. He's going to be a superstar next year.
Agreed. It's probably not a popular sentiment right now, but losses like this are a lot easier to stomach when your team has recently banked a couple natties. I think that's partly because there's still room for chalking this loss (and season) up as a relative outlier. Smart has generally shown throughout his career that he's willing and able to identify what needs to be addressed to get Georgia to the top. Until he fails to do so, I'm going to continue assuming that better times are ahead.
I don’t understand the post about our “inept” quarterback. Like, at all. Inexperienced, maybe. But inept? Silly.
Bud Elliot is a fsu clown.. nothing even close to resembling intelligence has ever come from his mind, or mouth 🤣
D. Pollack posted at the beginning of the season and it holds true at the end…Good Players just not any Great players. DN had a story about "reloading". Lord parts of this team need to 'rebuild' - i thought the veteran OL men were subpar. Well CFB wanted parity, they got it. Sorry to be a debbie downer…..but I see next year a big struggle too. I thought this team had top 5 recruiting classes. What happened??
Folks, if you don't like the jerk media's take on our Dogs, then don't click on their links.-don't consume their content. Their harsh takes are usually Big Ten biased. They are wrong more than they are right. D Pollack, Josh Pate and Brooks Austin usually tell the truth about our team, both the good and bad. That's okay. Just don't feed the troll media—which most of the time includes College Gameday.
