Congrats to Everette on his improvement, I must admit I was a critic of his 23 performance. Glad to have him back

I could say exactly the same thing, but you said it for me.

    Go, Dawgs!

This Is good news for the secondary. He has improved greatly this year and will be a good defensive leader and teacher next season.

Everette is a good player. He has been making slow, steady progress on the field during his time at UGA. He is not Lassiter (2nd Rd pick) yet but maybe he will be with another year of CFB experience.

He is not super quick twitch like you like your CB's to be. But you can have a championship defense with Everette as your CB2.

Everette, Harris and ERIV would seem to be a pretty solid group to start with. Hopefully other's step up to provide quality depth.

With the safeties that are moving on, the defensive backfield really needs the experience Everette brings back. I expect Ellis Robinson to give Harris a fight for the 2nd CB position. With KJ and the new transfer safeties, I expect the defensive backfield to be solid.

I like Everett and our secondar as a whole should be a strength. Not sure what happpens at DL though. Will we have enough depth and difference makers on the DL. Please tell us what the 3 deep looks like next year on the DL.

Alright I'm gonna get on my high horse for a sec. I think this can be a lesson in patience with young corners - probably a close second behind QB for most difficult position to play early - who are learning on the job. Especially when they're playing opposite an established and effective teammate that the opponent tries to avoid throwing at.

    Ok dismounting now. Carry on.

Trying to piece together the DL and just too soon to do so..IMO. Lost so many starters. I guess I will just have to wait to see how this shakes out. Good to see Daylen Everette back. I don't see any potentially big earth movers like Jordan Davis.

I see comments here from some of my fellow Dawgs fans with concerns about the Defensive Line. Yep me to, I’m concerned about Both sides of the ball.

Is it just me ( if it is I don’t mind Constructive criticism) but did Refs let Some teams get away with allot of holding ?? Like a certain team in crimson and grey playing bulls from TX ??
So what I’d dearly Love to see are D Linemen ( As we’ve had some in the past) able to get to the QB in spite of holding. Some ferocious bull rush linemen.

On the O side I want guys who can push that Same type guy backwards and make Big holes for our RBs and give our QB plenty of time in pass pro. The old football adage is the battle is won or lost in the trenches. Let’s Hope we have the Right Stuff. Go Dawgs !!
