How about offensive line? We stunk it up at both tackles, but no help was added. We lost our center… Reminds me of those Mark Richt years on the O line.

The 2024 class with all those o-line recruits have some really good players like Calhoun, we have recruited that position well, they were just young and redshirted. I think we will be bigger and better next year so there was no need to get o-line help. What we didn't get out of the transfer portal was an offensive coordinator!

my Dawg ryan, I hope you are right about young talent, but I wonder why they didn't get any snaps this year, especially since we performed so poorly. The dawgs have started freshmen in the past. Maybe poor choices at the coordinator position that you mentioned explains it. I'm not convinced.

Overall, I think we are doing well. I looked earlier today at Bama and while they gained 7, they lost 23. For us, it seemed almost a laser focus on 2 positions: WR and Safety. Both are understandable… but 3 of each of those positions and nothing else? Huh? I mean, we did sign 3 4-star WRs and 3 4-star Safeties this class, so wouldn't it have been better to try a target a wide range of positions?

… well, it makes sense on Safety. According to the 247 Roster, we only have 1 safety on our roster and he is unranked.
