Watched the NC last night. Clever play calling. I miss that.

No group worries me more than this one. Having to start a 3 ⭐️ Center is crazy and speaks to the lack of recruiting and development at that position.

Cant imagine a UGA O-line where the QB can just run straight up the gut and there is virtually nothing the other team can do about it. We saw that with both teams last night. Any other team but Ohio St. and Notre Dame is the NC. We either have to have a better O-line or a better running QB. Now that Montgomery has injured his knee he will be more limited in taking off and running. THose two QB's last night were big guys. 6'4"220-230. ANd fast. Stetson was little but he had knee buckling moves when needed, and he was fast.

I do not see an Aviance year for the Dawgs with this team lineup. Fraught with young upstarts. Could happen but I am not encouraged so far. Too many seasoned vets left. Very lean at RB..say no more. Center features Bobo..he tries hard i will give him that. Freeling and Greene the centerpieces of the O line? Calhoun and Micah Morris look very good. Many players I have never heard of or much of. QB I like. Gunner and Pug can handle the job. It will be a mad scramble for most starter spots. Branch, White and Taylor will get the slot job done. Just a quick study of my thoughts.

If the OL is made up of what you have there UGA is in trouble.

Searls will have to do More with Less. Can he do it ?? I’m not convinced he can. Dawgs are also lacking beef along the Defensive front. I don’t know. Looking mighty IFy right now and I despise being pessimistic. Kirby needs to do All he can to dip into the TP.

To any and All wealthy folks who might actually come here please put up more NIL $$$$ . I’ll gladly put in $20 yo your $20 mil !! Someone here I can’t remember who said UGA ranks #5 in NIL $$& that’s not good enough as that means four other teams are better.

So need to get At Least in the top three and then let Kirby and staff’s coaching and recruiting skills take over. OSU and Ryan Day won because OSU went out and Bought the best team $$$ can buy. Welcome to todays College Football.

The new young guys have a chance to come in start right away or at least get a good amount of playing time if they put in the work and learn the system. The running back room was not up to par nor has it been in a bit. Frazier has a chance now to show his skills and Walker, if he can grasp the system, he may be the second part of the tandem needed.

Defense is my major concern as it has not been great the last couple of years. Defense is what builds champions in my opinion.

benzone - I would stop short of saying what other people are thinking - it's real insulting. You may be right that our team lacked WR talent, OL talent, and RB talent. I would agree with WR, not with the rest. But once again, that is up to the coaches. If the kid can't catch, should he be a starter? And if you are recruiting at a high level, then shouldn't there be at least two who can catch. People seem to want to make excuses. This isn't a 9-5 job, where we give deference to an employee who lives on a small salary and needs to feed his family. These people, including the offensive line coach, are making more in one year than we'll make in a lifetime, in most cases. And they have been sliding down hill for two years. After the third year, I'm sure people like you will finally figure it out. People with executive experience can clearly see this isn't going in the right direction, as we thought from the start. What's maddening is there are things you can do to fix it, right now. Bring in more coaches. Add more young coaching talent. UGA has the money and they have the talent. Better use is soon, or the talent will leave.
