Another reason why it's best that Beck left. One thing that has always been clear: the QB is a complex role for Georgia football and requires time. People forget that Stockton isn't some redshirt Freshman, he's been on campus for 3 full years now. That makes a huge difference vs the one year for Puglisi and vs one month for Montgomery. This is not a program where a true Freshman can come in and run the show.

Saw a UGA player podcast where 3 of the players were raving about Puglisi. PLayers know.

I agree with you but we again have an ungodly SEC schedule. Sankey has done everything he could conceive to make sure UGA doesn't win another national championship.

But as for Puglisi, he will get his chance. If not this year then 2026 and he will be all the better for waiting and maturing.

Hopefully, he will be ready in case anything happens. This year could truly be the Next man up year.

“I think just being a part of this team with these guys, having love for guys, for a team. I mean, we talk about it all the time,” Puglisi said. “We need to just have the love for other people’s success. Being part of something that’s bigger than you, that’s been really cool for me.”……and there are those that question Pug's readiness…..hell, he could start for 95% of teams in D-1. Pug's will get his chance…..hopefully in the first two games…..it's up to Bobo, Gunner and the offense to provide clean-up opportunities against tougher competition……never forget, the aforementioned attitude expressed by Puglisi is exactly what allowed a lesser Notre Dame TEAM beat the Dawgs……prayin it infects the whole TEAM in 25!
