Sanford has become tougher for UGA’s opponents in Kirby Smart era

Is playing Between the Hedges now a more intimidating experience for UGA opponents?

Great article, Bill. It is certainly a tougher environment than it was in the 80s and 90s.
I can remember some unbelievably loud games decades ago. I don't know how to measure the decibels but I do know the sound level was painful to my ears at a way back Georgia Tech game we won on the final drive. It was so exciting, so fun, and so loud.
My other favorite super loud game was that Tennessee game in the rain which I enjoyed from my dry, comfortable recliner. Still, I appreciated all the drunk obnoxious Georgia fans who braved the elements and showed the Vols how wrong they were.
Go, Dawgs!
I can only think of one thing that makes you deaf for as long as a UGA home game and that would be an AC/DC concert.
