It's interesting that DeBoer didn't have Williams as a starter and the players(Milroe?) basically went to the coach and said this guy needs to start.

I just hope that Taylor can block so he can get o the field and make catches.

One thing is clear: We need much, much improvement at WR. Branch and Taylor need to produce immediately.

Guess we are about to find out if James Coley is a WR coach or if the underachieving our WR room did last year is the end product of his development. The Bulldogs struggled to create explosive plays and ranked 61st in total offense when Coley was OC in 2019, kind of the same scenario we saw out of our offensive passing game last year with Bobo as OC and Coley as WR coach. No excuses now, James Coley. Develop these kids!

Worry a little about the level of competition he faced. I think folks are sleeping on Wiley. He, imo, will be one of the surprise contributors in that room. He may not have had the gaudy numbers Taylor did, but he also faced significantly more difficult competition in HS.

My 1st thought was that UGA really doesn't need TT to be all that as a freshman. UGA has Thomas, Branch, Bell, Humphrey, Tuggle, White….. that is a lot of people in line before TT.

But the reality is IF UGA wants to keep adding 5* WR's through recruiting TT needs a big year. He needs to make a major impact like Coleman and Williams did last season. That is going to be a tough juggle for CKS considering the other receivers and breaking in a new, unproven QB.

Based on that highlight reel, he is smooth and skilled. Does he have the physique/strength to compete in the SEC in his 1st year?
