We played well but there are 32 conferences with automatic bids. That leaves 32. and 4 play ins. We need some victories quick and soon or we're looking at NIT.
Hopefully this will end all the nonsensical talk from a certain DawgNation writer about these Dawgs and their chances for an NCAA tournament bid.

Auburn is clearly in another stratosphere compared to UGA. Broom abused everyone on every possession. Newell, for as good as he is, was a boy among men. Georgia's defense is terrible. No other way to put it. They gave up twice as many points after the half vs the first half. This is the difference between elite teams and UGA. The elites make halftime adjustments and UGA can't counter. Simple as that. Coaching…
That was actually a good effort on the road vs the #1 team in the country. It’s unfortunate that we didn’t play like that I’m winnable games like Miss St Mizzou & Ark. Season would look a lot different.
Sleep walking thru the first 4 minutes of the game & allowing Auburn to take a 9-0 lead vs doing so to start the 2nd half is not an improvement. Georgia looked slow, confused, & completely out of sorts. This was an Auburn team ripe for an upset & the only reason they did not run the Dawgs all the way back to Athens was due to their own slow start. The Dawgs appeared as if they had never seen a basketball for most of the first half.

UGA doesn't deserve a NCAA bid because they would just get bounced in a very bad way in their first tournament game.
I graduated from UGA. My older brother Auburn, my younger brother Florida. They said they are enjoying beating us in basketball because off all the @$$ whippings we've been giving them in football. LOL
