- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Josh Brooks states Georgia plans to have a spring game, how UGA will handle revenue sharing

âWeâre still full-planning on G-Day this year,â Brooks said. âYou know, youâve got to take it year to year on things like that. But I can say one thing I appreciate about Coach Smart is that he understands the value of the game, and it is an opportunity for some of our fans to come see what the players and they may or may have season tickets.

The year to year remark doesn’t sound too promising for future spring games .
What about Title IX? Women's sports get 5-10%? The lawyers are going to love that.
That's easy! G-Day will be April 12 - Master's weekend, or April 19 - Easter weekend.
NIL! CAN"T HELP BUT LOVE IT! Will someone explain what has suddenly changed in the college football landscape that spring games are on the way out? Thanks and GO DAWGS
Teams are canceling spring games due to NIL tampering. When Lane Kiffin, the king of the transfer portal in the SEC holds hotdog eating contests instead of a spring game to stop tampering, you better believe it’s happening. If there is no game for players to get the highlights & for scouts to see, that big NIL offer is less likely. Players that stay #2 on their depth chart but have a solid spring performance are prime targets. The 2nd string QB at Georgia after the spring game could be a prime target with solid stats. Just one more failure for both NIL & the NCAA!!!
