Trevor Etienne electric at NFL Combine, receivers attack pass drop concerns

I knew Trevor would impress.
I am increasingly convinced the drops were every bit as much on the "thrower" as they were the "catcher" this past season, not purely one side or the other... the O line probably didn't help either 🫤
I guess we'll find out more during the Canes' season 🤔
I disagree. True, CBeck was not as accurate as last year. But when he missed, the passes were not that close. MOST(? - well too many anyway) of the dropped passes seemed to be put right on the receivers.
The passes that ASmith, Lovett, Bell and Yurosek dropped were more right on them than requiring circus catches..
How soon people forget all the circus catches that benefitted SBIV. I remember Bowers dropping 1 (!) pass in 3 seasons.
As for ETN, what a huge disappointment his play was for UGA. Granted, he was hurt during the year. Probably from overuse since the Robinson's couldn't answer the bell for the 2nd season in a row. But ETN had 1(?) break away run last season. The whole offense was huge disappointment.
It will be very interesting to watch which CBeck Miami gets. '23 Beck or '24 Beck. That injury is no cakewalk to come back from for a QB. Could completely change (mess up) Beck's throwing mechanics.
The WR group last year put a lot of **** film out there dropping passes. Smith is one of the few players that can break a game wide open with a big play or completely deflate the offense with a dropped pass. Everyone in the NFL is fast. But if you can't catch or make the plays, you aren't going to be playing for very long no matter how fast you are.
Etienne and Frazier numbers were virtually the same. Frazier was the number 2 RB coming out of HS. To denigrate Etienne is to say that Frazier was a disappointment too. His longest run was for 40 yards and he had more carries than Trevor. I remember watching I believe a few minutes of a Texas game and a hole burst open on the line of scrimmage that I could have run through in my old age and thinking to myself wow! That’s what good offensive line play looks like! At UGA this past season our RBs had to constantly side step a defender in our backfield.looking forward to better days ahead.
