"Freeling is expected to be limited this spring after he had labrum surgery. He is the lone returning starter from Georgia’s loss to Notre Dame." - Connor Riley

I was NOT thrilled with his (Freeling) performance in the playoff game - Stocken was running for his life because he (Freeling) could not contain the end. I am very pleased that the rest of the offensive line is gone due to the fact, in many games, they played "offensive" and under performed as a unit. I am hoping for bigger and better things this year from the new group. Opening up holes for the backs and keeping the ends out of the back field are important improvements hopefully made.

Agree, good comments. Like you I’m very interested in those aspects. But I also want to see if Coach Searls has the ability to coach young talent Up to a high level of play.

Although inexperienced players is indeed a hurdle, good to excellent coaching should be able to reconcile that to a good extent, as these are good players coming out of HS. We’ll see…….

This offensive line is a worrisome project. Monroe Freeling played, at times, like he had lead boots on—Earnest Greene didn't seem like the quality lineman that we usually produce—Drew Bobo was third string at Auburn when he was there. Let's all hope these young men continue to improve and learn hoe to play "The Georgia Way".
