A lot of athletic and basketball talent on this UGA team. A team that can take the #1 team down to the wire and beat the then #3 team can be a very dangerous draw for most teams. It will be interesting to see them compete in the tournament.

And just one turnover in the backcourt is very encouraging for tournament play.

They're peaking at the perfect time, IMO. I've been wondering, if that's an intentional development...planned by Mike White and his staff, at the start of the season.

It seems to me, White was slow-walking individual development in favor of team development....till the the last bye-week. After that, it's like he took the leash off and allowed his playmakers to make plays. And, do it seamlessly within the system.

Man...I can't say enough about the confidence and swagger I've been seeing out of these Dawgs. To me...in basketball...confidence in your game is absolutely critical to win consistently

It's a catch 22, though. If you get in a slump...how do you get your confidence back?...when you lost the very thing, that gave you confidence in the first place. I think White avoided that trap, by bringing the guys along slowly and gradually building their confidence.

Smooth out the slumps...so-to-speak. Lol. You don't want to have to escape a team slump, at the end of a season...and definitely not in the postseason. That's the logic, anyway.

IMO....Playing against 8 or 9 of the Country's best teams, one after the other, kind of helps you out with confidence building and development. It's a little less wounding to a players/team's confidence, to know they blew a lead in the 2nd half, against a #1 thru #15 ranked team.

Just knowing that you spanked hell out of em in the 1st half, tells you, you have the juice. Blowing the lead in the 2nd half, tells you, you need a bigger pitcher. Lol. Meaning, an effective, experienced bench. The Dawgs seem to have that, heading into the post-season.

Nothing the Dawgs do on the court, will shock me, going forward. They could give the SEC Tournament a pretty good spin before heading to the NCAA Tournament.

This team is operating as one organism, now. Win or lose...they're all in. The individual talents are starting to show up more frequently....but, within White's system. Which I think was White's plan, from the beginning. But, dang...it was hard to watch, at times. Lol
