pretty sure UGA pays a strength and conditioning coach(s) big money to do such?

Like Kirby said, you are right it is on the coaches…but also on the player.

The Parris Island standard was 3 miles in 18 minutes; 10 miles with a 60 lb pack.

"dawgfromduluth"—How well I remember—I've still got my pack, but it has mysteriously gravitated from my back around to my front!!

For whatever reason (NIL, TP, recruiting, new generation of athlete) what seems to have taken the biggest hit since the Chubb, NDean, NSmith, LaCounte days is leadership w/in the program. Not sure how it happened. Most of the elite players that should be great senior leaders are leaving after their 3rd year. That is part of the problem. May get back to the big question when hiring assistant coaches; recruiter or coach?

Could just be a case of everyone trying so hard, the adrenaline kicks in and then it dumps you and you've got nothing in the tank. If the practices truly are harder than the games and the coach is on the Mike calling people out, there could be something to this.

"Or someone else wiil be in their spot." Getting young people to go to bed remains a problem.
