- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Hopefully, Smartâs warning about the direction the sportâs heading will receive proper consideration from the powers that be. However, given the inaction on these crucial topics in recent years, I wonât hold my breath.

I totally agree with Coach. These so called “Marketing Representatives/Agents” are nothing more than Agents shopping players to the highest bidder. Most athletic programs operate on a very thin if not money losing budget as it is. With the current direction, the bubble is going to burst & when it does the very athletes NIL & the portal are supposed to help will be those hurt the most. Without some common sense controls, we will see numerous colleges & universities either scaling back their athletic programs or getting rid of them altogether.
