One key factor to keep in mind when projecting how Georgia QB Gunner Stockton might develop

Itâs fair to question what Gunner Stockton might look like when he takes over the full-time starting role as Georgiaâs quarterback this fall.

Stockton will be just fine…
Puglisi will take over before the Bama game.
I do hope Puglisi gets plenty of game time with those first 2 games. If Stockton gets hurt, we'll be in trouble.
That fumble just before the half in the ND game is primarily on the play caller and the left tackle. All I know so far is that the whole team perked up significantly when Gunner took over in the SEC Championship game. I also got the impression that Gunner throws a better deep ball than Carson. However, Gunner needs to work on a quicker release, something Beck excelled at. Overall, I really like Gunner. He’s got grit and appears to be a leader.
I do think Stockton will be a very good starting QB. The guy is tough, has a great arm, and is respected by his players. And he's cool under pressure. We've got (2) cupcakes to start the season which should help Gunner and the entire team slowly build up, gel, and hopefully work out the kinks. Our season depends on how well this fairly young team works together. Hoping we have some vocal leader(s) step up early on both sides of the ball.
ESPN just released its Post-Spring Pre-Season Top 25:
Georgia getting a little bit more respect on this poll than others.
Protecting him with a consistent offensive line and limit the drops will make all the difference in the world of who is operating behind the center. In my opinion, there was simply too much hype last year on Beck and the supporting cast was ineffective. Flip the script and everyone may be surprised. Now, add in a formable running game and stout defensive this Georgia team could go far. Let's face it too many issues in 2024 - turn the page and get back to basics.
I watched th kid in high school, he’s a gutty gamer who will win us a bunch of games. Humble leader driving a F-150.
