Heck Yeah! Anything for our professional athletes! Can’t be expected to compete with the Jones’s with old practice fields.
This day and age, you pretty much have to be all in with all sports to be competitive or get out. I know, stating the obvious. That's why, if I was Governor, I would declare the entire interstate system in the state of Georgia a toll road to non UGA fans. I would also put a $5 tariff per brisket sammich at Buc-ee's. That's my solution to NIL.
When I was in the Redcoat Band in 1977-1979, we used to practice on the old turf field off of Milledge…let me tell you…after 4 hours of marching on that field for a practice, you needed new knees, ankles and legs. That field was rock hard and NOT comfortable. I never understood how the football team practiced on that stuff.
1977? The foot wear is so much better and the trombones are so much lighter today. SMH.
