I’m not too concerned about the 25 season. May the best man get the call. But the 2026 season, if Stockton does well in 25, and returns for 26- that will be the interesting year in the UGA QB room.

I am 100% behind Stockton but I really don’t feel his 1 1/2 game experience, which I don’t feel lit the world on fire, is the “end all, be all” game experience it is being made out to be. He did fine but I would have rather Beck had been playing.

Stockton deserves his shot. He’s a true Dawg who has put in the work and I am confident he has the skills but again, giving him the edge based solely on his playoff experience, which was simply “OK”, is not a great reason. Aaron Murray, who I would choose over any other UGA quarterback started his redshirt freshman season. Jake Fromm was a true freshman. Eric Zeier, David Greene, Matthew Stafford…..

Choose the better based on skill, not experience.

Puglisi seems to be a very level-headed guy with a lot of potential. That's what I would want from my backup. QB competition is good for the QB's and good for the team.

Love Pug's attitude….no doubt he'll be ready to step up and lead, whether or not it's to cover for an injured Gunner or 1-2 years as starter in 26-27….and never despair…we have Montgomery and Millender competing everyday, getting better everyday…..my only worries concern Gunner's "get the yards or die" attitude….sure hope the "Makuba Head Kracker" helps GS know that a throwaway means you live to throw another day….

Dawgs in good hands with Gunner and Ryan. Kirby said it best, “They’re Georgia football players that love Georgia.” That’s the kind of players one wants wearing the G!
