I can't remember pulling for an individual as much as I'm pulling for Gunner. All about him screams winner and gamer and I really feel all will be well with him at the helm this season. I'm sure I'm somewhat of a homer but he has the physical talents and it seems his mental command of the game and this offense, is going up each practice. Can't wait for the season and to watch him lead this team to a great season.

I feel the same way about Gunner! At G-Day, me and my 3 daughters were unknowingly standing by his family when the players came through. I guess it was his sister who hollered at a lot of the players like they were old friends.
When Gunner came by, we were cheering next to them, and he stopped to hug all of his family…just a likable group of folks!
Made us love him even more!
Honestly, who gives a daggum if we do not name the starter until next week? Everyone knows it is Gunner, so lets just go and get ready to blow doors off come the 30th.
Love the moniker "Passtachio"……BUT, an everlasting impression was made to me in last years SECC….it was 2nd and 8, The Dawgs down by 3 in overtime against the so called best team in college football and Gunner makes the first despite taking a hit by one of the fiercest, hardest hitting ball hawks in D-1,….Andrew Mukuba……For me Gunner is the "PassandSmashtachio"!
