RB Nate Frazier: would need to double his output from last season when UGA hasn't had a 1000 yard rusher since 2019 and Smart doesn't appear to make getting RBs big numbers a priority anymore.

TE Lawson Luckie: not a chance. He had plenty of opportunities to show that he was an elite player in 2023 and 2024.

WR Zachariah Branch: would be the first WR that Smart has gotten from the portal since Lawrence Cager to actually put up better numbers at UGA than he did at the school that he left. And like Frazier, he would need twice the output of last season.

UGA is rated in the preseason top 5 because - like every season under Smart but 2016 - they have a lot of good players. But they aren't rated top 5 because - like every season under Smart but 2017, 2021, 2022 - they don't have very many great ones like Chubb, Michel, Bowers and Jones on offense or Smith, Davis, Carter and Walker on defense.

"The ESPN experts might not be able to identify exactly who will emerge, but it seems they’re aware it’s inevitable."

There are so many of these guys who are equipped with extraordinary raw talent and ready to emerge as they are developed in one of the greatest college football programs in the country. A lot can happen over a year's time, so don't be shocked if you see several of these guys who were barely noticeable last year become a force to be reckoned with. This includes Gunner Stockton who will no doubt demonstrate another level of maturity and command over the offense in 2025. We know the talent is there, we know that CKS and company know how to recognize it, we know that they are experts at developing that talent, and we know that (so far) they have been able to keep them relatively healthy. This team is ready for everyone on this schedule, especially Texas, Old Mess, and Bama! I'm ready to see it!

    GO DAWGS!

Poor Ol’ Georgia. No talent. Probably going 7-5. Can’t wait for the season to start. Talking season’s almost over men.

Wow! You are not very informed are you? I could speak on everything you wrote, reaaly want to on the RB situation anf factprs you are ignorant about or just do not care about but just let me comment on Luckie. You are clueless about him, his path at UGA, his talent and that statement alone will age very, VERY badly my friend. Matter of fact, you seem to be hating on the head coach, the best in the nation. And that alone disqualifies all of your opinions.
