I am hearing about a different Marshall than Kirby describes? All new players…yes…60 plus! Mainly portal. I expect the Dawgs to dominate stem to stern. May be a lot of early check down passes and off tackle plunges and end sweeps. This will allow Gunner freedom to hit the sidelines as described. UGA receivers are faster and more gifted this season as a unit. UGA is simply too much for Marshall. Defense should allow no points, at most 3, maybe 6 toward game's end.

If Marshall can force the Dawgs to be a one dimensional team then we’re in Deep trouble. I expect Marshall to play really hard and have a smidgen of success early on. But if Marshall presents a Real challenge to the Dawgs then it’s gonna be a looong bad season for our Dawgs.

But I don’t see that happening. I believe the Dawgs will devastate Marshall start to finish. Go Dawgs !!

“Smart will also want to get back-up quarterback Ryan Puglisi some valuable repetitions, as the second-stringer is always one snap away from being the next man up and having the season’s hopes on his shoulders.”

Really? So that explains why Gunner never played last season until Beck was hurt?

@JBMDawg46 No, what explains that is Georgia had to come from behind nine times …. and Gunner HAD played before last season, taking snaps in the Orange Bowl as well as other games earlier in his career.
