The 75-man roster limit will give us a better idea of how the bottom of the roster shapes up. Thereâs no doubt that starters like KJ Bolden and Nate Frazier will be on the bus. In the day and age of the transfer portal, this gives us a better idea of who might be at risk. Especially for non-freshmen.

Limited road game roster…aka phase 1 of future transfer portal players. With all the money being thrown around in the game now you would think they would eliminate roster limits for traveling schools. It has become fodder for player tampering. Can you imagine how many opposing coaches approach former 4 star recruits with the sales pitch that hey, you aren’t considered good enough to make UGa’s road roster, how about you come to Ole Miss where we’ll give you immediate playing time next year? In the immortal words of Forest Gump…IT happens
