I share Pollack's concern about the pass rush. I haven't seen a guy who can consistently win and get pressure on the QB. That's going to be a problem against the better QBs. Blitzing will work at times, but good QBs and coaches will take advantage of the blitz, especially when they have the talent at WR to win one-on-one battles. Hopefully, one of the LBs will become that guy, like Jalon Walker did last year. We have to remember that Walker was playing opposite Mykel Williams, and teams focused their pass protection on him, which gave Walker favorable matchups.

David states the obvious. I guess that is all you have when your relevance continues to diminish daily.

David also said clemson would win the national title.
He does make a good point, but hopefully with 2 weeks to get ready, Georgia will unleash something that bama hasn’t seen and won’t be ready for it. Go Dawgs!

Goes back to recruiting. You have to have the elite talent and lots of $ for the position. NIL has leveled the talent base!

David may have been a good dawg player, but he consistently picks against UGA. That's my opinion. I really quit listening to him for that reason, and I'm pretty patient with most. Not just UGA, he loves to pick against conventional wisdom. As a result, he's often wrong. Does he do it to curry favor with his masters?

In this case, it's an obviously straight forward point that everyone can see. My concern is that the dawgs have recruited very well, so are we saying those kids aren't that wonderful? Are they giving them snaps? I know seniority reigns, but if the upperclassmen can't get it done… I know it's not traditionally Coles place in the lineup, but shouldn't he get more time if he can put pressure on the QB. When it comes to pass rush, you need to think outside the box. A great pass rush has won a superbowl for the Denver Broncos.

It hurts when David is right, and he's calling it like he sees it. You can bet your last dollar Pollack wants it fixed. We will not win the game against BAMA without a couple of sacks and significant pressure on the QB. My fear is we'll see another 10-10 completions by the QB to start. Fla St proved they aren't the boogie man, they used to be, but they're still capable of beating us, if we can't dominate the line of scrimmage. Go DAWGS!

There have only been three 3-time all-American players at UGA, Herschel, Brock Bowers and David Pollack. I don't think any of those three have any diminished relevance no matter how long it's been since they played. Interesting comment, NOT.

The film doesn't lie. If Pollack sees it the Alabama coaches see it too. What we don't have this year is a turnover machine at QB and at least the WR's are catching the ball. I expect us to beat Alabama, flaws and all.

Another former player looking for clicks & relevance in a game that's leaving them behind. It's sad, to me. I know he knows better, too.

But, that's okay...imo....if anybody's entitled to an opinion ion on the Dawgs defense...it's David "Mad Dawg" Pollack.

I just don't completely agree with the "no pass rush" type comment. There is more than one way, to skin that cat. Just watch what Kirby has up his sleeve.

If Pollack sees it....then, you can bet...Kirby sees it. What did Kirby have to say?. Lol

    Go Dawgs!!

Much respect to the King...but, he has no clothes on this one. Welll....maybe he has shorts and a T...cause, the DL wasn't dominating like we know they can. Imo, they can and WILL get better, as the year goes. Then, Pollack can say, " Look...Kirby turned it around.".

IMO....They just need some seasoning and confidence. That'll come. Or maybe....after last week....it's already here. We'll see in a week and a half.
