”The position, currently coached and managed by Stacy Searels, has dealt with some early season adversity as the group has battled injury.”

The most PC statement ever. Well done 😂

I hope there was much more to it than just to reach out giving Sam support. I hope and pray there was an offer in there that wasn’t mentioned.

Glad CKS reached and hate it for Pittman. On the other hand, I selfishly hope some sort of agreement was reached between the two. Now, as for the 1.5 left on the table, I can help find it a home.

I’m sure it’s sounds good to us fans, but those who have followed the Pitt Boss knows he is going to the lake and have a few ice cold beers

The sooner Sam is back and Stacy gone, the better. Fact - Stacey took over the UGa Oline under Richt in 2007 and turned a 10-2 program known for a great OLine into a 6-7 program when he was encouraged to leave after the 2010 season. This time under Kirby Coach Searels has turned the UGa Oline into an issue again in 3 short years, just like last time. Obviously he is more than capable of developing an OLine (based on being a prt of two national championship teams - 2003 LSU/2022UGA) but in BOTH cases, Stacey was gifted very talented rosters. Give him 3 years of recruiting and the talent/development certainly regresses. Time to say goodbye Stacey, hello Sam!

Well reading the article doesn’t give me much hope for Big Dan coming here. Kirby was all about splaning about Searls and injuries. Glad he reached out to Dan. Now KS and UGA need to Reach In their wallet and Pay Big Dan to come back !!
Golden opportunity staring right at KS but based on this article it looks like he’s not gonna reach out and grab it.
So with Searls we’re stuck. 😡

P.S. Other teams have injuries to Great coaches Find ways to work around those. Love Kirby and Deeply appreciate him. But sometimes he leaves me just scratching my ole noggin.

I know it's not the "popular" view, but all in all, our O-line has not performed badly this year. As Kirby said, the run game is much improved, and Stockton generally has had time to throw. Would I take Sam Pittman over Stacey Searles? Yes? But I know that's unlikely, so I'm just hoping the line continues to improve. Right now, our D-Line is a much larger concern. They're doing fairly well against the run but with absolutely no pass rush, Alabama proved that you don't have to run the ball to beat Georgia. And that has some other SEC teams on our schedule licking their chops.

I doubt Sam is interested in returning to UGA. He took a beating at Ark. as HC. He must be tired. I wish him the best of retirements. I like Sam. He would make a great back-up offensive mind for Georgia once again, but I do not believe it will happen.

A rather **** joke on my part I guess. He sort of reminds me of Big Dan off that movie Oh Brother Where Art Thou. About the same size . No one here took the bait so it was a **** joke on my part. Love Sam Pitstop Pittman wish he’d come back to UGA !! Oh and I sure wasn’t trying to insult him. If you’ve never seen that movie it’s a good one imo !! Have you laughing hard !!
