The video cameras would follow Dooley on the sidelines, especially later in his coaching career when he was showing more emotion and “dance moves” during big plays. The Dooley shuffle!
Kirby is truly a player's coach. Nice article—we've all seen these faces over the years. Loved the photos of him propping up Taylor after his dropped pass. While all of us were probably cussing at the TV when Talyn dropped that pass, Kirby was getting ready to support him because—"you've got to love on them". Greatness?—most likely.
I appreciate this, Mr. Sentell. CKS is catching a good bit of flack after last week, so it's nice to see something that is appreciative and focuses on his strengths and connection.
Also, here's one of MY favorite CKS faces (etched onto my coffee mug…).
The G on the visor should be replaced with an L.
