Absolutely gotta start fast this Saturday night. Gotta do anything and everything to keep that gaudy orange clad crowd out of the game. With their O line giving up a ton of sacks so far, I hope that bodes well for Georgia’s defensive front because they need to get after this QB, at the very least, make him uncomfortable. Go Dawgs!
THeres no way in the world Puglisi missed his target by15 yards! He must of thought the receiver was going to break to the middle of the field.
You couldn't be more on point.
Jordan Hare has won more games for Auburn than I can count. I hate that place.
Kirby has to take the crowd out of it quick....or, it's gonna be a long physical contest. Which....could mean more injuries. And, I don't think UGA can afford that.
Kirby has to protect his players this week....so, this could be the week, he uses a lot of scheme. Sprint-out RPO's, Phillips and Bell on wheel routes, slip screens and slants.
And, some High End blitz packages, shifts on the line and movement in the defensive backfield. But, that's kind of hard to do with some of the inexperienced guys, on the field. The DB's are slow to react....because their eyes aren't sure of anything. Lol
That's how you blow coverages. But, you can hide that, with a relentless pass rush. Which....up to now, I haven't seen. But, the potential has been there.
Maybe, they won't need to.…but, it wouldn't hurt to use scheme early...then, shift back to vanilla ball, once they've built a lead. They're probably gonna need to be game-sharp on those packages before Ole Miss, anyway.
2 things, I think Kirby absolutely has to fix...is tackling & pass blocking....imho.
a 7:30 night game at Auburn, not fun. Our defense needs to show up ready to rock; they need to pressure the QB, and one of our LBs has to spy, or that kid will burn us all **** day with his legs. If we spy him and stop him from running, we will start rolling him out for the short stuff, and we can stop that. We also have to take away the run game. That is our key to success, along with please use all of our best WRs. Where in the heck is Noah Thomas? I am tired of hearing that "he is working hard". Play the guy and let him show you what he can do.
I agree with you. This is gonna be a tough one. Hopefully our Defense practicing against Gunner will help at least some. Gotta score Early and Often and take away their crowd noise. And I also believe the home crowd motivates its players. So if the Dawgs can quite them it’ll be easier on Our Offense and maybe hurt Auburns motivation some. Go Dawgs !!
Maybe he did, but that does not mean it was a mix up. A mix up is the qb and wr on a different page. Kirby said the wr ran the route he was supposed to, so it was not up for interpretation. Puglisi either made a really bad throw or he did not know where he was supposed to go. It still is not a miscommunication or mix up. It is still solely a net negative on Puglisi any way you look at it. It really does not matter whether it was a bad throw or not because if your qb does not know where he is supposed to be throwing the ball they are unplayable and going to have a lot of exactly what we saw. Balls thrown right to the other team.
@D1Athlete1987
So you agree with me, no D1 athlete QB is going to throw to a spot to his right, and miss it 15 yards to his left, outside of getting hit in the act of throwing or his arm blowing out! !
