Playing devils advocate…imagine the dollar figure spent on recruiting only to deal with last minute flips and numerous feel the love but changed my mind 17 year old kids…then imagine that dollar figure spent on TP players who you have had a year or two to evaluate at the college level. Just food for thought…

What concerns me is I'm seeing a lot of 3* Offensive Lineman being recruited. I understand there could be a Jordan Davis story amongst them, but why not shoot for the moon and go after 4 and 5 Star O Linemen? Looks like we're not going to lose our standing as TE U anytime soon.

I realize Jeff just provided a snippet of the conversations with the recruits. But go back and read their responses again. The ones who referred to UGA as “WE” vs “THEY”. I’m guessing the We’s are a lock and the they’s could still be deciding.

Lots of 3 stars in attendance—are we turning into GT?

I don't think I would have written this article with all the three stars. You want to pickup one or two, but the rest should be four star at least. And I second the people below that say we shouldn't be picking up three star Offensive lineman.

Used to be that UGA competed with AL for 5* 's. Now UGA competing with FIU and VA Tech for 3*'s. Especially on the OL it seems. I guess prices have gone way up for HS players. Can't afford as many high end recruits as the pre NIL days. @Gramster brings up an interesting point. How much money to invest in recruiting a mass amount of players that will not attend UGA vs taking that money and just grocery shopping your needs from the TP?
