Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Georgia-Florida game will have an end-of-an-era type feel in Jacksonville in 2025

The defensive tackle, and Jacksonville, Florida native, used to have to play high school games on Thursday because of the Worldâs Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party.

"For Florida, this game is its Super Bowl. No game will matter more to this team than the Georgia contest."
This seems to be the case for nearly every team on the schedule for several years now. The Dawgs will see Florida's best effort when they take the field Saturday, as they do each week from whomever they face. For Miss. St. and Texas, a win could be the only bright spot in their season, and for GT it would cap the greatest regular season in their history. Everyone needs to be hyper-focused on destroying any plans Florida has on controlling the first half and taking an early lead. Glen Schueman needs to be hyper-focused on implementing a plan to stop DJ Lagway and the Florida offense instead of whether or not he will be offered the Florida Head Coach position.
GO DAWGS!
Not sure every team. The “top tier” just view it as a tough game. As for as Tech. Their 1990 season was for more dominate as they “shared” a Natty with Colorado.
Shumannnn to fla, that'd be nice
@Brooksie read carefully:
"This seems to be the case for nearly every team…"
"and for GT it would cap the greatest regular season in their history….". They tied North Carolina during the 1990 regular season, while UGA is their highest hurdle remaining for a 12-0 2025 regular season.
Agree 100%. Every game going forward will have so much weight given the situation of the opponents and their seasons. DAWGs have to be focused and executionally very sound to run this path, and if they do, they will be poised to do well in the playoffs. There really doesn't seem to be any dominant teams this season so the field remains wide open.
Not feeling it….Era change that is! Two year temporary change of site just like in 95 for renovation then right back to the same site.
A coach being fired at UF is no new news or era change. Been 3+ years!
Unless UF starts winning regularly, no real Era change.

Unless UF starts winning again regularly, no Era change in my view.
Yeah that caught my attention to about this being Florida's super bowl. Another day in the life of the Georgia Bulldogs - another team they will face that is putting it all on the line, and this time it will be the uncaged version of the angry gators now that Napier is gone. The Dawgs will likely fall behind again early as there will be new wrinkles, but the game plan is simple…just keep pounding them with the most physical offense in the league and they will eventually slither back into the swamp in the second half.
