Now Gunner don’t breathe now cause if you do youll get you’re azz chewed. Never mind that I should have called for a FG in a certain game we lost because Me and my coaches are perfect we don’t make mistakes. Only players make mistakes shucks everybody knows that. The fact that players get NIL is starting to become a little more understandable. 🙄

Now for the more positive comment. I’m So glad Gunner is a Dawg !! He is and will Always be a DGD in My eyes. He has tremendous pressure from within and from without. No he’s not perfect but he’s done a pretty dawg gone good job in my view. Still waiting for him to be Officially named as the starting QB like the Other QBs before him.
Young man gets blamed for things that are his fault and for a heck of allot of things that are NOT his fault. But he takes it all in stride and is lightning fast at giving his teammates the Credit AND his coaches for anything good that happens. And is just as fast taking responsibility for bad things that happen.

I’ve Never read or seen in any video clips him trying to shuffle blame off on his teammates. And again he gives Them the credit for the good.

Your Grandfather would be Very proud of you. Im very proud of you and I’m very confident that countless Dawgs fans feel the same way. Go Gunner !! Go Dawgs !!

P.S. I’m headed toward 69 yrs old and I’ve Never seen a false start called because of the way the QB claps !! I Have many times seen Defense called Off Sides because of the way a QB claps and mainly by the way he audibles. UF was Off Sides plain and simple but the Biased Refs called the Phony false start !! Way to defend your player there Kirby !! That really showed them biased Refs a thing or two. 🙄

Down vote away but I supervised people over Big $$$ equipment where things were Far more important than a football game. When my people were in the right I backed them 100% Even if it meant I was gonna get MY azz chewed out big time or worse.

Gunner didn’t deserve that Bogus False Start penalty !! At all, period, what so ever. UF was off sides.

And Kirby chews Gunner instead of backing him. Is Kirby scared of the Refs now ? His mentor never was. And is it perfectly OK to be critical of players on here but Never Ever the coaches including the $10 million per year one ( correct me as I could be wrong on this but I think he got $13 mil for This year I think I read that but admit I could be wrong) ?

I don’t know for sure but I can imagine that Gunner probably had less than $250k in NIL. If I can I’ll try to find out.

Nothing hurts a young man more than when someone you look up to more mature and experienced in Life won’t back you when the chips are down.

That was a BS call, Kirby knows it, I know it, Most fans know it, and even the down voters know it though they’d never confess it. Clapping his hands To Aggressively !! Off Sides on #14 for Clapping his hands to aggressively and gyrating his azz Five Yard Penalty !! BS !! Utterly Ridiculous !! 😡

I totally agree. Been a Dawg fan for 40 somewhat years and not a Kirby fan. Even if he’s not happy with Gunner you don’t do it in front of the team you lead. Bart Starr told Vince Lombard that once. He said you chew me out in private, not in front of the team. Kirby got cute on that play, should have kicked a FG instead.

And we wonder why good players transfer out of the program or we miss on a big recruit.

And I totally agree with you as well. It’s just not a good look at all. One thing to do it in his office or on the practice field or heck even on the sideline. But to give the Media that info. is just wrong !! You and I know that had to be a hard gut punch to Gunner as these kids look up to these coaches like father figures. And I DID get my azz chewed by my superiors for backing my people. But for the Same reason I got a measure of respect as they Knew I wasn’t gonna throw my people under the bus to satisfy Anyone !! Just chew MY azz leave my people out of it !! Respect is not something you Take it’s something you Earn. I know you know that as a mature adult. But there’s allot of adults out there that don’t seem to understand that strangely enough.
