4th place is the best position for GA to be in right now. Don't have to play in the brutal SECC but still get a bye in the playoffs.

One problem for Georgia is not playing in the SEChamp game and getting that first round bye. Too much time off. Then playing against a team that just played. It’s also crazy that the SEC standings are 1.)TAMU 2.)UGA 3.) OleMiss 4.)Bama and it’s Bama and TAMU in the SEChamp game. A lot to clean up in college football. I don’t think it’s gonna be Bama and TAMU in the SEChamp game.

    QB…A; RBs…A-; WEs & TEs…A-; Dline…B to B+; Overall…A; Coaches…A! This was not Miss. State..this was #10….Connor far too conservative.

    Defensive line: A

    Linebackers: A+

    Defensive backs: A-

I believe that the recent defensive domination, especially in this game, is a major factor in the decision to try the on-side kick. If it didn't work out, CKS was fully confident that his D could respond accordingly. It was very satisfying to watch!

    GO DAWGS!

Overall a great performance by the defense. Offense is the 1st and 4th quarters looked great. But it's maddening how the offense disappeared in the 2nd & 3rd quarters. GO DAWGS!!

Amen @UGA66! I'm really glad Conner isn't involved in my Annual Performance Revue where I work. I've never done anything as impressive as complete 24 for 29 with 5 touchdowns and only 1 INT (3 over a 10-game stretch), so I would never get a raise!

life of a coach. Gambles worked so he’s brilliant. Didn’t against Alabama so he’s a nut.

I have a theory on Thorson's horrible night, probably wrong but hear it is. Coaches tell him that the Texas return man is so dangerous you can't take a chance on him getting the ball so just kick it as high as you can and don't worry about the distance. This throws off his rhythm and he has a terrible night. It's like in golf when some buddy of yours tells you hey try doing this, the result is usually a bad day at the links if you listen.

I’m with Connor, you can’t give an offense an A that went a quarter and a half without a 1st down and totally wasted two possessions inside the crucial 4 mins before and after halftime. It took two fourth down conversions, one by penalty, to keep the drive alive that was their first score after going up 14-3 in the 1st quarter. I give them a B -.
