If Ohio State beats Indiana in the BTCG how could they justify Indiana being rated over UGA if they go by strength of schedule? I would think UGA would be number 3 assuming A&M wins out and wins the SECCG. So many possibilities right now that it is futile to try to get the final rankings correct. Michigan beats Ohio State. Ohio State beats Indiana. 'Bama beats A&M. Then what? It just has to play out and then we will know.
Put the bong down and let us get through the season before we start overwhelming us with what ifs.
I'd love to play the Buckeyes again. That was the most physical and downright brutal, punishing game I have ever witnessed involving the Dawgs. It would be another dogfight. Bring it on!!

@hootche10 Indiana's loss would b to No. 1 team… and they typically don't drop teams that play in championship games below teams that don't.

@MontanaDawg I agree, and I believe it was by far the best game of CJ Stroud's career. He was the primary factor in how they were able to stay with the Dawgs and make it such a close game, although they definitely had a really good team. It would probably be another slugfest!

When I "reflect" back on that game I'm reminded of Jalen Carter getting tackled by an OSU lineman with no flag as he was about to get a sack, allowing CJ Stroud to escape the pocket and run the ball into field goal range. That missed holding call gave the buck-nuts the opportunity for the game winning field goal! Glad it worked out the way it did!

Agree. Last thing Dawgs need is to get overconfident and get ahead of themselves.
That being said, after watching aTm barely eek out a win vs a mediocre SC team and IN pull off an improbable miracle finish vs PSU, don't be surprised to see a lower seed than UGA surprise somebody prior to a 1 vs 4 matchup anticipated above.
MI playing the rest of the season w/o Justice Haynes. Wouldn't surprise me to see AL beat aTm in the SECCG. In that scenario, UGA drops back down to 5.
Focus has to be on G tech. For some unexplained reason, they've made it tougher than it should be for UGA to beat them.
Please no Bama!! That said, we need all hands on deck for Tech!
Since we're having fun with the what-ifs, though not as likely, I'd be very good with a UGA vs OU matchup as well!
And....what about the WINS, Mike? Do they count for anything? Cause, IU is severely lacking, in that category....imo.
