Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Georgia OL Nyier Daniels dismissed from the team following driving-related arrest
The redshirt offensive tackle was arrested on 13 charges. Three were felonies â one count of felony fleeing from an officer and two counts of second-degree child cruelty â per the updated Jackson County jail log. Daniels was also charged with 10 misdemeanor charges, including reckless driving and exceeding maximum limits.

Best thing that could happen to him. Really doesn't have time for football anyway now. Needs to work on getting his act together. Won't be walking away from those second-degree child cruelty charges.
Not at all suprising, he brought this on himself. Maybe this will wake him up to reality, and he grows into a better (and smarter) person going forward.
Good riddance. It's behind us… now move on Dawgs!!!
Good cut and paste job DN.
As a retired State Trooper, one has to wonder what he might have had in his car that made him not stop. Anytime you have a blocking vehicle, the other is hauling something. I have always been amazed how people will draw attention to themselves. 100 moh in a 25 mph zone..why? If he is from NJ why is his mom running a blocking vehicle? Hmmmm.. there’s more here Conner. You should investigate it more
Good riddance is right….The Athletic just posted a story on it.
From the article…
"Nyier Daniels was eventually brought to the police department by a Georgia football staff member, Bryant Gantt, who is the team’s liaison to law enforcement. "
That sentence says a whole lot beyond the detail of the story.
Why does the team need a law enforcement liaison?
Quick trigger by CKS, I'm saying tithis wasn't Jerseys first Bar b que.
My understanding is that Mr. Daniels quit and given the evidence and his unwillingness to make amends, his resignation was happily accepted…..I'm sure Rutgers and other Big 18 schools have sent out invitations…Hasta LaVista…best wishes
"Tswood1959"—Thank you for that insight into the ways of the bad guys. Knowing this I almost feel like this could be something really dark.
"Tswood 1959"—And thank you for your service to the community and to the state!
