Gilligan's name should ring a bell for anyone who's seen Breaking Bad and or Better Call Saul.
I'm not particularly a Sci-Fi fan, but I figured anything from Gilligan will have a witty subtle sense of humor, as well as being thought provoking. 'Pluribus' , on Apple TV is both. They've only released 5 of the 10 episodes. We binged 2 through 5 last night. The following is an IMDB plot line.
"In a world overtaken by a mysterious wave of forced happiness, Carol Sturka, one of the few immune, must uncover what's really going on - and save humanity from its own bliss."
It's kind like the Omega Man, Last Man Standing and Dawn of the Dead turned upside down. It's super clever and the first five episodes leave you with a lot of questions. It's very good.
