I'm sorry…if Georgia wins, a 3 loss Alabama should NOT be in the playoffs.

They could easily have 4 more regular season losses anyway… Georgia, Mizzou, SCar, and Rburn.

But since they're Alabama, I guess exceptions can be made…

Who exactly is telling you that Bama will be at #10, or in the top twelve at all after UGA beats that a#$ in Hotlanta this weekend?

This is good analysis. I had the same positive thought about the floor given the Ole Miss ranking…that is definitely some reassurance for at least getting a home playoff game. In a lot of ways, the Dawgs were in the same position last season as Alabama is this year. That is, playing in the SECCG and staring at a potential 3rd loss against a team they already beat earlier in the season. I recall we had similar concerns about being left out of the playoff, especially if the Dawgs lost in blowout fashion. Fortunately, the Dawgs won and ended up not having to go through that agony of a decision resting with the committee. Given this, as much as I dislike Bama, I could never support the idea of them being punished for losing in this game and being left out entirely. Go Dawgs

Athens playoff game, the atmosphere would be electric and on fire, but that would mean losing this weekend….
