Ohio State is the betting favorite, at +250, while top-seeded Indiana — which beat the Buckeyes 13-10 in the Big Ten championship game — is second at +270.

It is hard for me to believe that Vegas would be this naive when they are in the money making business. They have let the media of the north convince them that these little ten teams have a shot in hell against the Dawgs defense. Ohio State is no where close to the team it was last year, and Indiana? Heisman My @$$. Dawgs on top!!!

two of the four qtr final games will have an sec team with a good good chance of a 3rd. Would love to see the sec take the two games against the B1G in the rose and cotton bowls.

"The Rebels, led by first-time head coach Pete Golding after Lane Kiffin’s departure for LSU, beat the Green Wave 45-10 earlier this season and are a 17.5-point favorite to beat Tulane again when the teams play at 3:30 p.m. on Dec. 20."

*Edit to represent the actual situation (maybe I'm splitting hairs, but clarity counts; as it is, it reads like Golding was at the helm when the teams met before.)

The Rebels, [WHO ARE NOW] led by first-time head coach Pete Golding after Lane Kiffin’s departure for LSU, beat the Green Wave 45-10 earlier this season [UNDER KIFFIN'S GUIDANCE,] and are a 17.5-point favorite to beat Tulane again when the teams play at 3:30 p.m. on Dec. 20.

If Georgia's defense play like they did against Texas and Alaa... They will win the Natty. ma

OC Charlie Weis will be calling the Rebel's offensive game. We'd better be ready.

That's right, and I think they will benefit from playing one of the two "Affirmative Action" teams in the first round to get used to the new coaching line up.

@railroadtrack1 They have better memories than you do. "Little 10 teams" are 3-0 against SEC teams in the playoff the previous 2 years with Michigan beating Bama in 2023 and Ohio State beating both Tennessee and Texas last year. Add to that Ohio State beating Texas to start the season and it is safe to say that the dominance that the SEC enjoyed over the Big 10 (and the rest of college football) is basically over. The SEC still dominates the NFL draft but it no longer translates on the field.

And yes, this Ohio State team is not as good as last year's Ohio State team. But last year's Ohio State team would have beaten this year's Georgia team so at best it is a wash. UGA accomplished a lot this year but they still haven't demonstrated the ability to throw the ball downfield when they need to. Not want to, like Ohio State does when Carnell Tate and Jeremiah Smith are 100%. Need to.

The Dawgs beat both of the little ten teams you speak of in the playoffs, I stand by what i said.

And our offense play like they did against Ole Miss earlier in the year, not like they did against Ga. Tech.😊

And? This was week 1, and Manning had zero clue what he was doing. TX scored exactly as many TDs against OSU as they did against UGA, with only the addition of a FG after weeks and weeks of improvement.

Last year's OSU isn't playing this year's UGA, so what does that matter? Every team is a different team this year…

Beyond that, as far as "needing" to get incredible downfield throws goes… we've only lost one game, so… when has that need been apparent? We won every single game except for one without "needing" to make the kind of deep passes you're referring to. 64, 47, and 45 were Gunner's longest passes of the season. Those… aren't insignificant numbers

Just random flipping around and not a single person called ohio state to win the National Championship, It was Georgia or Indiana, and seriously, I think they felt like they had to say Indiana.

That means absolutely nothing, though. I hate the layoff and not knowing who you are playing until right up to game week, which I believe hurt us last year. Lesson learned so be ready to crush whomever has the misfortune of taking the field against us.

Lol....why are yall arguing about OSU. They won't be as big a factor as some, seem to think. Bama or OU will take care of them...when they get to em.

    Time to walk the Dawg!

UGA vs [Bama or Oklahoma]....in the '25 Natty....with UGA leaving em all in the dust. That's what's up...as the kids would say. Lol....B to A baby.

Forget them!....Lol. Shows you just how much weight you need to put on these TV Picks. I call em DEI Picks. Lmao.

Even Saban...who just made a great case for the Dawgs....picked Bama to beat UGA on College GameDay. Lol....it's personal....it ain't business. Good TV.

Pollack picked Bama, too. Like I said...personal...not business. Lol
