Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Pete Golding fires up Ole Miss for playoff run, aims for Georgia rematch
Pete Golding fires up Ole Miss for playoff run, aims for Georgia rematch
The initials of the new Rebelsâ head coach â âPGâ â are an appropriate forewarning of Goldingâs colorful football vernacular.

They are going to clobber Tulane
Jesus, Brent Key 2.0.
Bless his li'l ole pea pickin' heart. Lmao.
Reminds me of, "The Little Engine That Could".
I'll be pulling for a rematch. I don't want them.…or any potential HS or JC Recruits....to have any doubts about which team was Best...in 2025.
Or....which team will be best in 2026. The Dawgs have lot of experienced talent returning....and, a waiting list of portal talent to choose from, for next season. And, that doesn't include THIS top 5 recruiting class.
GGo DAWGS!!!
"Golding doesn’t want any congratulations or celebrations."
I don't know anything about Coach Golding other than what I just read, but based on that profile Ole Miss just went from one extreme to the other!
Well I guess that's one roundabout way of calling your wife a loser. Yeah Pete? Sheesh.
They will be a tough out, but would love to beat that slob.
Golden and Heupel will be sloppy best friends. Pigpen vs Aqualung.
Dawgs gonna put belt to ass on Golden Arse….
Or worse, if thats even possible..
They’ll curb stomp Tulane then run into the brick wall which is the Dawgs defense. Kirby will have the Dawgs ready and ole Pete will be doing allot more cussing after the game !! Go Dawgs !!
I hope Tulane beats them. He has a attitude problem
Wasn't Golding the Alabama DC that the Bama.fans wanted to run out of town on a rail for a.couple of years before he "moved on"?
here’s the real issue I see here.
The committee decided that a first round rematch of two teams that was decided by 35 points was a good idea????
listen, bless Tulanes heart but they don’t have the depth or talent to make it to round 3. So some may say…… well, should they just not play then if they can’t make it that far?
No, absolutely not. Just join a conference that doesn’t have to play on a Tuesday or Wednesday to get viewership.
either way, this game may be a snoozer. Golding neither scares or concerns me, lots of talk . Kirby has always said, do your talking with your helmets.
Regardless of how one feels about Kiffin he did Golding a huge favor by throwing him lifeline out of Bama. Reports were his wife wanted out due to threats to him by the Bama faithful. He appears to be an ingrate IMO.
Another Michigan Head Coach bites the dust.
That's...what?...3, 4 coaches off the 2023 Championship Team tied up with illegal activities?
UGA and FSU should've been in that CFP....NOT, Michigan. They didn't win that Natty fair & square.
And....that will always be the case and a point of contention for the 2023 National Championship field.
It's a darned shame....they pencil whipped UGA out of making history. It's the only way they can do it, now. Which is starting to become more and more obvious.
