I've always appreciated Ben's insight as a media expert…very even keeled, but not afraid to let folks know he will always be a DGD. I won't name some of the others we come across who sometimes try too hard to not show their love for the red and black, and therefore come across as foolish in the end. In any case, I'm sure the Dawgs are focusing 99.9% of their attention on Ole Miss. If some how some way Tulane pulls off the upset of the century, there will still be 10 days to focus on them.
I don't think, either one of those teams are gonna pose a threat to the Dawgs.
This is NOT the same UGA Team, that played Bama & Ole Miss...earlier in the season.
They've grown and developed.…and, "learned" how to play together and execute like a military unit.
The plays the defense were executing, in the SECCG....were explosive and disruptive. Chaos! Elaborate stunts and twists....with everybody on the field, involved in an all out "Attack".
That was the first time, all year...that I remember seeing that defense.…attacking instead of defending....for a whole game. Usually, it comes in the 2nd half....depending on the score.
Imo....UGA, Kirby Smart and Staff....and, the Players.…put it all together, after the Tech Game. It's been there, all year....one rep at a time.
Great Coaching Job, by everybody on that Staff, as far as i'm concerned. Outstanding.
Talk about your dual threat DGDs (great in football and real life): Ben Watson. Matt Stafford, the Stinchcomb brothers, and for us old timers, Fran Tarkenton! I'm sure others of you can name many other deserving souls.
Aaron Murray!
