Kirby lost this game plain and simple. Bad game plan, terrible offensive and defensive calls and completely and utterly awful coaching decisions in game, especially clock management and play calling at the end of each half.
Bobo's offense scored 27 points. Schumann let their QB throw it all over the place and never changed. Kirby is experiencing the Dabo problem. You get great, then everyone hires your coordinators as head coaches. The next guys up are not great, they are very average. Now, you are average, and no one is trying to hire those coordinators. Nick Saban's key to success was keeping Kirby from getting a head coaching gig about halfway through his tenure.
Chambliss was terrific. He was terrific because we forgot how to rush the passer. He had all the time in the world.
Our defense never touched him on drop back passes in either game.
Watching Miami/Ole Miss last night,…..Ole Miss has to be the worst tackling team in the SEC, could not stop the run especially in the forth when their D-Line fat & worn out….so I had to wonder…..why didn't The Dawgs run the ball 90% of the time when we played Ole Miss???
Congrats to ole Dead Eye Beck on the thus far Cinderella Season….
