jamboogie, there's speculation about Nate Frazier entering transfer portal. Just rumors but….only thing I've seen.

" The Bulldogs are set to see second-year running backs Nate Frazier and Chauncey Bowens return in 2026, giving the Bulldogs one of the better running back tandems in the league. The duo combined to rush for 1,473 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns last season."

So, am I to understand it's official somewhere about Frazier coming back???

@jamboogie: UGA only signed 1 RB in 2025 and 2026. 3 signed in 2025, but 1 is only 180 lbs. Also with McCray and Robinson leaving only Bowens was over 225 lbs. UGA landed a veteran with size and SEC experience. A good move.

Given the NFL playoff news concerning DAWG RBU Alums D'Andre Swift and James Cook….I'd say Mr Dowdell is very fortunate to have been offered and extremely wise to have accepted….a DAWG Pedigree can only accentuate any effort he makes in 2026….and I believe he'll be more of an asset than the Army guy!

A good addition to the RB room. At 6'2 225, and If used correctly, he will be a very good short yardage RB, if the OL does their job. Unless Dante has blazing speed, it'll be a rerun of McCray trying to bounce outside this year. He simply wasnt fast enough to make the edge before there were 2 or 3 defenders waiting on him. Hes over 6' and 220lbs, use him between the tackles to help wear down defenses! After a few tackles against a RB that size, it will take a toll. Defenses will dread seeing a 225lb RB at full speed heading their way after a few bruising runs..GoDAWGS!

@1SICemDAWGS1 - Are you available as an Offensive Coordinator?

Looks like a good pickup, had a decent year for a bad SEC team, hope it works out.

🤣 good one, got an up vote from me! even if it is sarcasm, maybe?! I wouldn't take that job for 4 million a year, especially with college football being the madhouse it is at this point lol not claiming to be an expert, i'm nowhere close to holding that title..just pointing out the obvious lol havent seen any film of Dante, but it'd be nice if he did have speed like Herschel and Bo did hitting the corner (he has the size already), he'd be almost unstoppable. But McCray just didn't have the quickness to outrun the defense to the edge..not saying thats on the coaching, he is the 1 who chose to try and bounce it outside when his initial running lane was shut down, usually ending in lost yardage, thats on him.

He’s probably a good get. He’s an SEC RB so he’s used to the wear and tear that goes with the territory. Keep Choppin !!

@1SICemDAWGS1 - I was just acknowledging that you seem to understand a basic concept better than Bobo does.

Lol not just me, from SEVERAL comments I've read, I think a lot do lol you need 13 yards for a 1st down, you continually throw WR screens at or behind the LOS..now hes gotta get 15 yards for a 1st down 🙄 Makes you mad enough to want to hurl objects at the TV 🤣😂🤣 I think Bobo at times added several new swear words to my vocabulary that I never knew existed 🤣

ran 4.65 in 40 coming out of high school. A little heavier know - 208 out of HS - but one would hope he has improved speed a little after college strength and conditioning work. Not blazing but faster than McCray.
