Georgia-Tennessee menâs SEC basketball showdown moved back to Wednesday
Georgiaâs game against Tennessee has been moved from Tuesday to Wednesday on account of the winter storm that left Athens with a layer of ice on Saturday night and Sunday morning.

If they dont play any better than they did against Texas Saturday, it wont matter if the game is moved to the 2027 season. Especially after UT pulled off a a huge win over a ranked Bama team on Saturday.
Not gonna happen….Dawgs win at home…Count on it!
Go Dawgs!
Have to admit I missed the carnage yesterday. Watched the first half then went outside to do some pre-Icestorm chores at halftime, Dawgs up 7 playing well , Cyril looking like an NBA player blocking shots, taking hard pass after hard pass for dunks and 11 points and only 1 or 2 fouls. Came back in and we lose by 20 and Cyril now has 12 pts total. Obviously I did not see what happened, assuming Texas shot lights out also assuming being helped by poor defense. I know it’s a long season and this team has shown plenty of upside and excitement but it’s hard to remember seeing any team with such a schizophrenic nature, play like a legitimate contender for stretches and then collapse into a rec league looking group. Still confident ( hopeful?) that they will mature as a cohesive team and play up to what looks like their potential.
I really hope youre right, and im wrong lol Depends on if the team that averages over 90 points a game shows up or the team that was leading Texas at halftime, then proceeded to get blown out in the 2nd half, and held to under 70 points takes the court. Hopefully its the high scoring, high flying DAWGS team we have seen in several games this season. But, if UT slows UGA's tempo as Texas did, and the DAWGS coaches, and players dont adjust accordingly, the outcome could easily be the same as yesterday's game.
Don’t disagree but have really only had the one bad game….
I like our chances …especially at home!
True, they've looked pretty good, even in the loss vs Clemson early in the season, and the 2 nail biter wins against Mizzou and Auburn recently. As long as they can run and gun as they have most games, I love their chances against most any team in the country.
