    Thanks for the info, Mike!

    Looks like Dawgs well-represented!

    Go Dawgs!

Cash Jones had 253 rushing yards in his 5 year career. Nick Chubb had 266 yards in one game. The very idea of claiming that Jones may get a combine invite is utterly ridiculous and shows how Dawgnation is determined not to acknowledge that UGA has had real talent issues at WR and RB.

@randomsportsfan I'd agree it's unlikely, but until the list comes out, every eligible player is a possibility, and Jones is among the Georgia players who could sign a free-agent contract. Last year, four signed free-agent deals, and stuck with their teams. Cash plays special teams, and there's great value in that so I wouldn't be shocked to see him get on a practice squad — the NFL Combine list is not an exact science, as we saw last year with Dan Jackson's omission, and Dan got drafted!

Real issues? They just had a guy drafted last year. He isnt a primary back. He is very much a 3rd down specialty back that as a former walk on served a very specific roll. That running the ball was about deaf last on the list of. Your comment to claim otherwise citing statistics irrelevant to his purpose and contributions to the team shows the constant misunderstanding of the game and value that certain players bring to the team. As much as yall hate to see him in games he had a lot of big plays and moments for the team. Someone else who didnt know better would think he was as useless as the same fans who rant and complain about him would.be on the field.

Special teams players have value in the nfl. Anything else you can add is a bonus. Like being a guy they know they can turn to if desperate and need pass protection on an obvious passing down. Yall also forget he runs something like a 4.3 40yard or something close to it and over the course of his college career had more than a few big plays for uga especially in big moments. The sugar bowl against ole miss he had a couple huge plays we needed and that was the mosf recent game and you somehow can't even remember that.

No one is telling you he is prime Todd Gurley beclfe you go there. There is a ton of space in-between Todd Gurley and problem at rb that yall act like we have. We were fortunate to find and get the run of elite backs tha worked out. Those dont grow on trees and isnt just simple to get. While injuries set us back a couple years and that plays into it we also has 2 really good rb last year. Nate was even better snd was breaking out. He very well coild.be one of the best in the country next year and is already thought of in that general group by many credible authorities. Everything isn't a conspiracy. Every guy doesnt have to be a generational talent the second they step on campus or they are trash. It hurts my head trying to figure out how yall can possibly come to te conclusions yall do and completely lacking any and all truth or context. And just FYI you dont have to have prime Gurley or Chubb type rb to win NC. We didnt win one with either and won 2 with backs that would fit your description of problems that uga has had. JC like **** this nonsense and doom just gets so old. The misery you all live in and really the fact that most of what yall say just isnt the truth or an accurate representation of things is what irritates me the most. That people can be so wrong and blame this and that and believe its all the cause of this and that. Like use yalls brains more. Take in more information and think deeper than you do. Like people.can not exist whose brains work these ways that I see uga fans do. They just can't. I refuse to believe the human race is lagging that far behind in mental development and evolution.

If 180 lb RB Cash Jones is drafted or runs a sub 4.4 40 I'll eat my hat. (I won't but I'll be shocked)

Cash will not get drafted, nor will some others and it is not about getting drafted for those guys. It is about getting a chance just to be seen by the teams, getting an UDFA contract or camp invite and getting that chance to show their value and just making a practice squad. Just by blocking or special teams alone can get you a roster spot. i.e. John Fitzpatrick

Speaking of Dan Jackson, it would really be nice to hear what, exactly, happened to him. All you heard was "lower leg injury" and coach saying it was significant.

If it is a broken bone, you hear. If it is ACL or meniscus, you hear. If it is an ankle, you hear. If it is a hamstring, you hear.

With Dan Jackson, you don't hear.
