The rebounding was rough, super frustrating. I don’t know how many times I saw 3-4 orange jerseys walling off the world, if there were even any white jerseys there to battle. It was weird. And our top scorer misses both free throws to start overtime? Hate it for him. But otherwise, that was the best men’s UGA BB game I’ve been to in years. There was energy and effort. Mistakes? Sure. But they did not give up.

Continuation of the same that we've seen for the last how many years. Can't get too excited about it because it is what it is.

Georgia under White has definitely upgraded the talent on the team, but still the biggest difference between a well-coached program like Tennessee and Georgia is during the season Tennessee gets stronger for the tournament while Georgia gets weaker for it, if they even get in at all. Us oldhead Georgia fans know this Hugh Durhamesque season arc at Georgia all too well.

By now we have a pretty big sample of our BB coach, don't see anything changing with him at the helm.

What are you guys expecting? UGA is a football school. We all know that. UGA is projected as a 8 seed . Hopefully they make it and win a game.

Enough of the ****. It's the same guys every time. Look at the user names. You guys and the trolls. Ya'll are worse than the team.

Can’t speak for the others but I expect to see solid fundamental basketball. Year 4 and s o s. The question is what do you expect to see in year 4?
It is simply here we go again, load up on cupcakes early and fade away down the stretch. Here’s a fact, you can choose to ignore or not…CMW is 47-10 in Nov-Dec since he’s taken over the car salesman dumpster fits Cretan left UGa, care to guess his Jan-Mar record? Same scenario he was fired from Fl…he’s a good guy but he is not a top level coach. Facts are facts. You don’t pay average coaches millions a year just to qualify for the big dance. CMW’s success was at lower level conferences. Perhaps that’s his ceiling?

Same ole stuff. Not talking about Mike White, but the entire history of UGA basketball, with the notable 1 year exception of Final Four in early '80's. We scuk.

So did Indy in football. No excuse for such mediocrity in this day and age of buying players…or coaches for that matter. Surely there is a Cignetti version of a Bball coach who can change UGa Bball perception, yes! It certainly isn’t mediocre Mike.

And yet another blown halftime lead..

@MikeGriffith how does one explain the last 15 or so seconds of that game last night? Seriously, how in the world do you drive for two trailing by 3 with a second left on the clock? Where are the ingrained fundamentals one would expect a 4th year coach to have instilled?

I am certainly not a basketball guru but watched that entire game and it’s amazing how poor the Dawgs efforts were in getting rebounds of any sort. I have always heard that rebounding in not necessarily athleticism but mainly effort, wanting the ball more than the other team. How can the leading shot blocker in the SEC not be able to corral more rebounds? No way to win a game when there is that much discrepancy between the 2 teams. Also I’m sure most have noticed that there are essentially no more fast break points since we started SEC play. Playing opponents with similar or better athletes with our pathetic efforts at defensive rebounds is going to eliminate that. Oh well, they ain’t good for your heart but they have been frustratingly fun to watch.

You must be one of those people that pull for Georgia in football, but not in any other sport, especially basketball.

@dazzledawg I think you are the troll. That type of loser mentality unfortunately is shared by Brooks and a lot of the admin but Gramster is right. No reason UGA basketball can’t be like Indiana football. But to do that 2 things have to happen. 1. The admin must invest in the program. 2. Mike White can not be the HC.
