Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Make No mistake about it I’m really glad this young man is committed to UGA. And will be ecstatic if he follows through and signs !! He looks to be an Excellent get by Kirby and company !!
But I’m Still disappointed that Kirby didn’t reach out and snag a Very willing Ty Cummings. Ty had better stats than this young man and is from right here in Ga. Ty got injured in the qtr. finals. They tried to play him in the semifinals for about 3-4 plays but his ankle was just so badly swollen he couldn’t go.
Not being able to show his stuff in the semifinals ( a game that WL HS might well have won had Ty been fully healthy). Really hurt his picture for UGA and/or other D1 schools. UGA did display some interest in him earlier in the season. And he was More than willing to come to UGA.
I was So passionate about Ty that I actually sent Kirby his chief recruiter and chief recruiter assistant an email pleading for them to strongly consider him.
Now he will be at Ga. Southern. I’m a Dawgs fan ONLY. But I hope that Ty has an Adrian Peterson like year at GSU !! I’ll be checking along and along to see. Then maybe he could hit the TP and come to UGA !!
The kid is lightning fast, can and does make defenders miss Allot, has really good strength for his size, and great vision of the field and defenders in front of him, cuts on a dime !! His size might be what turned Kirby and staff off. He’s 5’9” and weighed 170 lbs. I saw him as maybe being an Isaiah McKenzie type. Or Trindan Holliday of LSU type. Hiding behind huge O Linemen then Boom off to the races !!
Ty has explosive first steps !! Had The Most yardage in All of Ga. HS football and was third place in two other categories !! I don’t think the ankle required surgery. I was So disappointed not Just because he came from my old HS but because I honestly think he could have helped UGA if nothing else on kick and punt returns Both of which he did in HS. Oh and in his freshman year he was a QB !!
Oh well that’s why Kirby and staff make all that big $$ they know lightyears more than I do !! Go Dawgs !! P.S. I Hope Spell will sign and become a SuperStar at UGA !!
The Sixth thing to know about him is he will never play for the Dawgs.
UGA will never pay him the NIL market rate for his skills.
Why are we getting so excited by a verbal commitment? We all know even when they sign their LOI, it still means nothing since another school can still poach them away with $$$$
Because the basketball team is crumbling and the baseball season hasn't started. 😊 Go Dawgs!.
