ATHENS â Mike White improved Georgia basketball each of his first three seasons, and the three-year contract extension he received last September is reflective of the confidence UGA has in the future of the program.

Each SEC member just received around 60 million. Everything & everyone gets something except the fans who as usual are left holding the bag.
UGA will never be a force in BB, but he is doing a commendable job with not a lot talent and money. Well deserved raise as far I am concerned!
Sounds like I was vastly underpaid for my mediocre career, congrats Mediocre Mike. You deserve to take every mediocrity dollar JB throws at you, after all what would we expect you to say…hey Josh, please no, don’t pay me more until I earn it…no way. Now get back out there, 4 of the next 5 SEC games will certainly show this vast improvement…make me eat crow.
Very very disappointed…. Price is Florida's trash that we are now paying almost $4M per year to maybe get us an invitation to the NCAA tournament…
Based on a 25-37 SEC mark and a 26- 41 overall record in Jan-Mar competition so far…Mark Fox has two winning SEC seasons on his UGa resume by year 4 and Mediocre Mike gets another raise and extension? I see this working out really well, don’t you?
Who are you going to get that is better that will take the UGA job with all its limitations?
Mark Fox's last year in Athens was 2017/2018 season. 8 years in college sports is a lifetime ago especially with the transition from rules and level playing field to no rules and NIL/TP. In 8 years the UGA basketball facilities have just gotten older and more and more funding channeled to the football program.
White is a 3 time Coach of the Year (WAC, C-USA, SEC) with a career winning % of .637. Mark Fox's career winning % is .552.

As a result, UCLA locked Cronin into a six-year contract that’ll make him Bruins head coach until 2028.
I’m so tired of the “who are going to find better” loser mentality. Kirby came here and demanded, yes demanded, how we do things. Got an actual indoor practice facility and many other improvements. State of the art weight room facility. We CAN be a basketball school as well. The fan support is there if a good product is put on the floor. Mike White ain’t it. He’s another Mark Richt, too passive to get things done! Go Dawgs!
Georgia playing Florida tonight again looking like warmed over c-r-a-p! Two teams with identical 17-6 records. The Gators are 8-2 in conference and we’re 5-5. We feasted on a weak OOC schedule and wilt when we play real competition. Mike White is NOT an SEC caliber coach! Go Dawgs!
