Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

When asked about his next steps in development, Stockton noted that last season did not go as planned. The Bulldogs went 11-1 in the regular season and then beat Alabama to win the SEC championship.

The overall competition has improved but so have the Dawgs going into this season. I have very high hopes and expectations for '26…like another Natty.
Ole Miss had a great game. But we had significant players out and had beaten them before. Honestly, they shouldn't have been there. The playoff system is still flawed.
We didn't have explosive plays because Bobo decided our most explosive player should catch the ball behind the line of scrimmage. One of the only plays all year we tried him deep was the 1st play of the playoffs. Which has led NFL teams to question his route running and explosive game, it's honestly sad. We had Devontae Smith and made 80% (literally) of his plays start behind the line of scrimmage. It just didn't make sense, the playbook needs to be looked at if they want more explosive plays. Id bet any amount of money that when Monken was here, the deep ball was practiced at least 50%+ more with Bennett. Which is why we connected on so many 15+ yard plays, now that Bobo is back and those plays ARE NOT practiced nearly as much... we looked special when we tried. If your run game is better or improved, why would you try to extend it with screens? It literally makes no sense. Now I'm not blaming Bobo for those losses because to me it was on the defense (albeit the 3 n outs trying to throw the ball when our run game was getting 5+ a carry is pretty DANG SPECIAL) but the playcalling sure didn't help the defense in the slightest. If you want more explosive plays, you need a coordinator that can draw them up and practice them. Look to 2022 practices if you want them. It's extremely clear that they are not practiced or repped nearly enough. OH AND USE YOUR TOP TALENT TIGHT ENDS, We have 2 Brock Bowers and 2 Darnells doing NOTHING, USE YOUR TIGHT ENDS. The talent is there, there's no question about it. The question is, can the talent be utilized correctly. So far in the last 3 years, not nearly enough. Hopefully we figure it out this year.
