That helps explain why he’s been such a great safety in his time at Georgia. He earned Second Team All-SEC honors last season, finishing with 76 tackles, 2 interceptions and 5 pass breakups. Entering his junior season, he’s likely to be one of the best players, in addition to defensive backs, in the country.

    Bolden stepped up as a leader last season, and I'm glad to hear he's embracing that role more this year. I believe that great defenses have leaders at all three levels: Bolden will be the leader in the secondary, Raylen Wilson at LB. Now, I want to see who emerges on the D-line, maybe the most important leader on the defense.

    KJ was ready for this when he stepped on campus. And Kirby made sure his prized pupil had it all down. KJ has proven to be exactly what Kirby said, “great kid, great family, super intelligent, great athleticism.”

    He has got to learn to wrap up on larger receivers. He whiffed on the tackle on the receiver Lacy in the Suger bowl giving up a key first down to the Rebels.
