    IF this guy is truly 6'2" 290 lb UGA needs to let him play both ways. He is not needed at C this year. He can take the year learning the position while also taking some reps/snaps at DE. There is really not that big a difference in size between 6'3" 305 lb (in his freshman yr) Jalon Carter and 6'2" 290 lb Helton in '26. Especially when you consider Helton has a nonstop motor and uncommon quickness/power combination that should be utilized in any way possible this season.

    My guess is that it will be difficult to keep him off the field on D.

    I agree with you on this. Let him train Some at center in case of several injuries. But train More as a DE. Good thoughts on your part.

    A coach told me Helton has already shown he will be special, quick and with great footwork to allow him to play any position on the offensive line despite his height disadvantage.
