- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans

- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

That dude was a total beast in the state champ game. Amazing to see an OL prospect just tearing it up on defense. Good info and look forward to reading more updates. Thanks!
IF this guy is truly 6'2" 290 lb UGA needs to let him play both ways. He is not needed at C this year. He can take the year learning the position while also taking some reps/snaps at DE. There is really not that big a difference in size between 6'3" 305 lb (in his freshman yr) Jalon Carter and 6'2" 290 lb Helton in '26. Especially when you consider Helton has a nonstop motor and uncommon quickness/power combination that should be utilized in any way possible this season.
My guess is that it will be difficult to keep him off the field on D.
I agree with you on this. Let him train Some at center in case of several injuries. But train More as a DE. Good thoughts on your part.
A coach told me Helton has already shown he will be special, quick and with great footwork to allow him to play any position on the offensive line despite his height disadvantage.
