Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Not to detract from Kirby's optimism but…off topic expressing my depression with this new semi-pro athletic ponzi scheme that college athletics has become…did you know?
Michigan won the NCAA basketball natty with 8 transfer portal players, FIVE of the 5 starters were all playing for different teams last year and 6 of them were in the 8 player rotation. Indiana won the NCAA football natty with a team comprised of 80% transfer portal players…
The amateur sport landscape is pretty much gone. It is refreshing to see that Kirby continues to try to build a winner primarily the old fashion way, recruit and develop. But until this tranferring every year B S and buying the best team is resolved I am afraid it may all be in vain. I hope not…just my two cents
"Teamster"—Good points all. I don't know about all of y'all, but this type scenario is kind of strange to me for a college athletic team. Their whole starting five were portal guys. Do you cheer for them as Michigan players or as some drop-in from other schools who just happened to land in Ann Arbor? Sorry—I'm just old school.
